Parish Churches App End User License Agreement

Welcome to the Parish Churches App. This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is between you and C B Newham FSA (“the author”), the creator of the Parish Churches App. This Agreement applies to your use of the Parish Churches App, available through the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. By installing the Parish Churches App, you agree to this Agreement. If you disagree with any terms, please do not use the app.

1. Parties: This Agreement is solely between you and the author, not Apple, Inc. (“Apple”) or Google, Inc. (“Google”). However, both Apple and Google, as third-party beneficiaries, have the right to enforce these terms.
2. Privacy: The author respects your privacy. Usage information collected by the Parish Churches App is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
3. License: You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Parish Churches App for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to the relevant App Store Terms of Service. Institutional, corporate, or organisational use requires a separate licence agreement with the author.
4. Subscription: Access to the full Parish Churches archive requires a paid subscription. Subscriptions are available on a weekly, monthly, or annual basis. Subscriptions are managed through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and are subject to their respective billing terms. A free tier covering the county of Rutland is available without subscription. Subscription prices are as displayed in the app at time of purchase.
5. Age Restrictions: Users must be 17 years or older. Users under 17 require verifiable parental consent.
6. Intellectual Property: All content within the Parish Churches App, including but not limited to photographs, data, text, and the database, is the intellectual property of C B Newham FSA and is protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content within the app without prior written permission from the author.
7. Warranty: The author provides the Parish Churches App “as is” and disclaims all warranties to the extent permitted by law.
8. Maintenance and Support: The author will endeavour to maintain and update the app but is not obligated to provide any specific level of support unless required by law.
9. Product Claims: The author is not responsible for legal claims related to the app, including product liability, legal compliance, or consumer protection issues beyond those required by applicable law.
10. Termination: The author reserves the right to terminate your access to the app for violation of these terms.
